Referrals
Invite others to Engy with your referral link, earn a share of their spending, and withdraw or convert your earnings.
This page explains how the Engy referral program works and how to manage your earnings. It is intended for account owners who want to invite other users to Engy.
How referrals work
- You share your referral link.
- A new user signs up through the link and is linked to your account.
- When the user spends credits on the API, you earn a percentage of that spending.
- You withdraw your earnings or convert them to credit for your own account.
Your rate and the period during which you earn from each referred user are shown at the top of the Referrals page. Referred users are never shown to you by name.
Share your referral link
Open the referrals page
In the dashboard, go to Referrals.
Copy your link
Under Your link, copy the link and share it.
Use your own code
To replace the generated code in your link, click Use your own code and enter a new code. A code has the following requirements:
- It contains 4 to 20 characters: letters, digits, hyphens (
-), or underscores (_). - It does not start with
engy. - It is not already in use.
Codes are not case-sensitive.
When you change your code, the previous code is released, and links that use it stop working.
Track your earnings
The Referrals page shows the following information:

| Available earnings | The earnings that you can withdraw or convert. |
| Friends invited | The number of users who signed up with your link. |
| Earned, all time | Your total earnings. Click History to view your daily earnings and every conversion and withdrawal. |
| Earned yesterday | Your earnings for the previous UTC day. |
Earnings are calculated per UTC day. The earnings for a day appear after the day ends at midnight UTC.
Convert earnings to credit
To use your earnings for your own API requests:
- On the Referrals page, click Convert to credit.
- Enter the amount in USD, and then confirm.
The amount is added to your credit balance.
Withdraw earnings
Engy pays withdrawals in USDC on Ethereum. Each withdrawal is reviewed before it is paid.
Open the payouts dialog
On the Referrals page, click Payouts.
Enter the withdrawal details
Enter the amount in USD and your USDC address (Ethereum). The amount must be at least the minimum withdrawal that the dialog shows, and at most your available earnings.
Submit the request
Submit the request. The amount is reserved from your available earnings until the withdrawal is paid.
You can have one withdrawal in progress at a time. To cancel a request before it is paid, click cancel next to it in the Payouts dialog. The reserved amount returns to your available earnings.
The Payouts dialog also lists your previous withdrawals and their status.
Paused referral accounts
If your referral account is paused, the Referrals page shows a notice. While it is paused:
- New sign-ups are not linked to you.
- You do not earn from referred users.
- Withdrawals are on hold.
